Job description

Job Title: Lead Pool Attendant Department: Pool & Beach Reports To: Pool & Beach Manager Position Summary The Lead Pool Attendant supports The Setai's standards of discreet, personalized luxury service at the pool. This role oversees the daily pool deck operation, guides Pool Attendants, and ensures all guests enjoy a seamless, elegant experience aligned with Forbes standards. Key Responsibilities Welcome guests, set up loungers, umbrellas and cabanas, and anticipate needs (towels, water, shade, F&B requests).

Lead by example on the pool deck with Setai grooming, service, and professionalism. Assist with daily assignments, break rotations, and basic training of Pool Attendants. Maintain pool areas impeccably clean, organized, and properly staged throughout the day.

Monitor towel and amenity par levels and communicate any shortages or maintenance needs. Help enforce pool rules and safety guidelines; report incidents and hazards immediately. Qualifications Previous Pool/Beach Attendant or similar luxury resort experience required.

Prior lead/supervisory experience preferred. Strong communication skills and calm demeanor in a fast-paced, outdoor environment. Ability to stand, walk, bend and lift up to 40 lbs for extended periods; flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
