Role Description The Computer Aided Design Operator is a full-time, on-site role based in Orlando, FL. This position is responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining CAD drawings and models based on project requirements, sketches, and specifications. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting design instructions, ensuring drawings meet relevant standards, organizing electronic drawing files, and preparing final documents for internal and client use. The role involves collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other team members to clarify requirements and resolve drawing-related issues. The operator will also perform routine computer-based tasks, data entry, and documentation to support back-office operations and smooth project delivery.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong computer operations and computer literacy skills to efficiently use CAD software and related office applications.
  • Candidates should possess effective communication skills to collaborate with project teams and clearly document design changes and requirements.
  • Candidates should possess back office operations skills, including data entry, file management, and basic administrative support related to design documentation.

  • Proficiency in common CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD or similar), attention to detail, and the ability to read basic technical drawings are highly beneficial.
