Marina Customer Service Clerk - Lake Blackshear Resort
Lake Blackshear Resort / Georgia Veterans State Park, located in Cordele, Georgia, is looking for Marina Clerks! This is a seasonal position and will start March 1, 2025. We offer a culture that focuses on teamwork and high levels of customer service with an environment that empowers our team members to exceed guests' expectations. Our ideal candidate will be engaged, hands-on, and prepared to operate a "best in class" resort!
Lake Blackshear Resort has 10 lake cabins and 82 camp sites located on beautiful 8800-acre cypress lake with restaurant, bar, off site fitness center, conference center, marina with a lake restaurant, 18 hole-golf course designed by Denis Griffiths, fishing and more. We are managed by the Southeast's premiere hospitality management company, Coral Hospitality. This is a seasonal position.
Marina Customer Service Clerk Duties: Under the direct supervision of the Marina Manager. The Marina Customer Service Clerk is responsible for:
Making guest reservations for the rental of Pontoon Boats.
Performing rental registrations for guest renting Pontoon Boats and taking deposits.
Accepting payment for Marina Store purchases, gas and Pontoon Boat Rentals.
Must balance account at the end of day for all cash and credit card payments.
Performing inventory of merchandise in the Marina Store.
Clean the store and restrooms daily.
Providing information to guest concerning activities and services provided by the Resort and Park.
Assist guest with information concerning the lake and surrounding area.
Requirements: All employees of the Marina must be able to swim. Please do not apply unless you have one (1) year or more experience as a retail cashier or similar experience.
