Job description

Position Summary

Our client is seeking a CMM Operator to perform dimensional inspections on precision components used in highly regulated manufacturing. This position plays a critical role in ensuring products meet engineering specifications and customer quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform dimensional inspections using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and other metrology equipment
  • Inspect components, tooling, and assemblies throughout the manufacturing process
  • Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements
  • Generate inspection reports and maintain accurate quality documentation
  • Identify dimensional discrepancies and communicate findings to production and engineering teams
  • Verify calibration status of inspection equipment and maintain inspection records
  • Support first article inspections and customer quality requirements
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while following all company and OSHA safety standards.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures including PPE requirements
Qualifications & Skills
  • 2+ years of CMM inspection experience
  • Experience reading engineering drawings and applying GD&T principles
  • Knowledge of precision measuring equipment and inspection techniques
  • Computer proficiency and experience with inspection reporting software
  • Experience in aerospace, medical device, precision machining, or advanced manufacturing preferred
  • Experience with PC-DMIS, PolyWorks, Verisurf, Faro Arm, or similar metrology systems is a plus
Employment Type & Compensation
  • Type of Employment: This is a Full-Time | Direct Hire position
  • Compensation: $52,000.00 - $72,800.00 per year, based on experience
  • Application Period: This position will remain open until filled
Work Schedule
  • 2nd Shift | 3:45 PM – 12:15 AM (10% shift differential)
