Required Hours: 7pm-7am, possible days Sunday thru Saturday


RESPONSIBLE FOR: 
Independently performing all aspects of diagnostic testing and record scoring of data to ensure a high degree of quality services. Helps less experienced technologists with tasks as needed or as requested by the Polysomnography Coordinator, Director of Neurology Services, or Medical Director.

For non registered:

With the assistance of a Registered Polysomnography Technologist, performing all aspects of diagnostic testing and record scoring to ensure a high degree of quality services.


MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High school graduate or equivalent.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
1-3 years experience in Polysomnography, EEG, or Respiratory Therapy. Other health related experience might qualify.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Registered by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT).

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Some college coursework in basic science of sleep medicine preferred.

FOR NON REGISTERED:

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
1-3 years experience in Polysomnography, EEG, or Respiratory Therapy preferred. Other health related experience might qualify.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Some college coursework in basic science or sleep medicine preferred. Eligible to sit for the sleep boards offered by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) preferred.
Two (2) years of experience in a sleep laboratory servicing adults preferred.
