ISSO
As an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) you will support government and defense programs.
A Top Secret/ SCI (TS/SCI) clearance is required and willingness to obtain a CI Poly
(Due to the nature of the work an ACTIVE TS/SCI clearance is required) Responsibilities
• The ISSO will perform security assessments, monitoring, tests, and reviews. • The ISSO will ensure proper measures are taken when there is an incident or vulnerability affecting classified systems or information is discovered.
• Minimum 4+ yrs of experience
• Security+ certification or higher
• Top Secret Clearance/SCI, willing to pass CI poly
• The ISSO will conduct network, system, and application vulnerability scanning, configuration assessment, and remediation.
• Lead and align IT security priorities with the security strategy.
• Compliance assessment and review impact on levels of risk, effectiveness of cyber security program
• NIST, RMF, STIG/SCAP
• The ISSO will conduct network, system, and application vulnerability scanning, configuration assessment, and remediation.
• Ensure that (POA&Ms) plans of actions and milestones or remediation plans are in place • Development and maintenance of System Security Plans (SSP) and Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&M)
• The ISSO will perform risk assessments, creates reports and manage continuous monitoring strategy.
