We are a fully remote company, with partners and staff throughout California. Applicants must reside in California.
Client Services Associate (CSA)
The primary focus of TeamCivX Client Services Associate is to support the Client Service Team: creating client and public-facing materials, ensuring they are on-message, on-time and error-free, and helping TeamCivX Partners, Client Services Managers (CSMs) and their clients implement communications, outreach and campaign plans on time and as directed.
A typical day for a CSA will involve producing first drafts of messaging materials and supporting CSMs in creating client-specific deliverables, as well as working with our Art and Field Teams to produce direct mail and other materials, and support client and volunteer campaign needs.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Political Science, Communications or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Must be California Resident, or willing to relocate upon hire
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with remote work and comfort working in a fully remote environment
  • Must be able to obtain California Drivers license and be able to travel for client meetings as needed
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience managing multiple and competing deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
  • Close attention to detail and strong proofreading skills
Roles and responsibilities include:
  • Messaging Development
    • Crafting and finalizing poll-tested, on-message text for handouts, mailers, websites, social media and other materials
    • Overseeing the graphic design or production of these materials, as needed and directed, by graphic designers, web developers, video producers or social media content developers, to ensure timeliness and appropriate messaging
    • Carefully proofreading materials and reviewing all drafts to ensure client-readiness
    • Supporting CSMs in the client review process for all materials to ensure timeliness and secure approvals
  • Client Management Support
    • Adding all relevant client documents to Google Drive and keeping it organized
    • Supporting Partners and CSMs in general client and campaign committee support and responsiveness, as needed and directed
  • Art & Production
    • Supporting overall management of art and design process, to ensure deadlines are met, final materials are on-time, mistake-free, on-message and approved in writing by all required parties
    • Helping create drafts for mail and social media as needed
    • Proofreading all documents before sending to client or production
    • Working with Art Team to execute edits and changes to mailers
    • Reviewing printer proofs
  • Field
    • Supporting Field Team activities to ensure all grassroots efforts, including walking, texting, phone banks, relational outreach and related efforts, are conducted on time, with mistake-free materials, to the correct targeted voters
    • Reviewing and finalizing draft materials, in coordination with CSMs
    • Providing clear and timely direction to Field Team regarding needed scripts, lists, trainings and other documents
