Minimum Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Master's in political science, government, or international relations
OR
Bachelor's in any of the above AND Master's in economics, history, public administration, social science, sociology, and any ethnic studies, Juris Doctor Degree (J,D,) or Legum Baccalaureus (LL.B.)
OR
Possess a valid California teaching credential authorizing service in a community college in the appropriate subject matter area.
OR
the equivalent. Equivalent qualifications may include related education, training, employment and professional experience that would be equal to the required degree(s) and experience in this field as determined by the District Equivalency Committee.
Commitment to diversity. This is a continuous recruitment to fill part-time, and temporary faculty assignments on an as-needed basis. When the need to fill arises, the department will refer to this pool of part-time faculty.
