About The Position:
The Political Science Department of the State University of New York College at Plattsburgh is seeking qualified individuals to teach courses on a part-time, as needed basis. Successful candidates will be committed to excellence in teaching in an institution dedicated primarily to undergraduate education. They will be expected to demonstrate an understanding of and sensitivity to diversity and gender issues, as SUNY Plattsburgh is committed to ensuring that its graduates are educated to succeed in an increasingly complex, multicultural, and interdependent world.
The vita bank exists to provide a pool of candidates who might be available to fill anticipated positions as needed.
Required Qualifications:
Master's degree or higher in Political Science or a related field. Successful candidates will have demonstrated an ability to work effectively and collegially with faculty, staff, and administrators.
Preferred Qualifications:
Teaching experience at the post-secondary level preferred.
Salary (Applicant View)
Starting salary minimum per UUP contract.
