Job description

Risk Intelligence Analyst

The mission of the Virtual Global Security Operations Center (vSOC) is to provide a centralized monitoring center to coordinate our client’s response to crisis, emergencies and security situations while minimizing the impact on their enterprise and personnel. The vSOC is a single point of contact for Facility Emergency Management Teams, Facility Security Manager, Emergency Agencies, and travelers to facilitate rapid contact, situational awareness, reporting, and response. In addition to monitoring and response, the vSOC fuses intelligence analysis to the situational awareness to create predictive reporting and risk mitigation and avoidance guidance. The GRS vSOC also coordinates risk operations around the world for all GRS clients to include protective services, international assistance, trusted transportation, and more. The center operates on a 24/7 schedule globally, while also coordinating regional and localized support functions across the enterprise.

Hourly Rate: 28.00

Role responsibilities

The main responsibility of the Risk Intelligence Analyst is to monitor world events and provide overwatch of our Clients’ extensive global operations, to anticipate and mitigate potential risks. This multi-functional role will monitor events and incidents, issue, and escalate notifications, and dispatch the necessary resources to resolve active events. The Risk Intelligence Analyst will use internal and external intelligence sources to research, analyze, and aggregate threat data on potential risks to the client’s environment.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in security studies, international relations, or related field; or 2+ years equivalent military/professional intelligence training.
  • Demonstrates strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to utilize multiple intelligence, incident management, video management and dispatch systems.
  • Excellent time management, project management, oral communication, technical writing, presentation development, facilitation, and organizational skills required.
  • Can effectively communicate and interact with all levels of management.
  • Must be flexible and possess the ability to function independently in stressful situations and multi-task in a fast-paced working environment.
  • Knowledge of security procedures, life safety, and business continuity.
  • Maintain situational awareness and collecting and analyzing information to ensure the safety and security of our client’s assets and operations.
  • Develop and maintain a deep knowledge base of sources, including OSINT and social media, staying at the forefront of the latest information to provide actionable insights.
  • Track and analyze major threat trends for the client and create risk reports (such as Viral Outbreaks/Terrorism/Weather Patterns/ and Geo-Political Issues).
  • Issue timely alerts to stay ahead of emerging threats impacting clients.
  • Coordinate and dispatch risk operations resources to meet clients’ needs.
  • Provide threat monitoring support around client travel, events and operations, escalating incidents as appropriate.
