MRSGM NA Associate Claims Resolution Specialist, Surety

Munich Re Specialty Group North America (MRSG N.A.) is seeking enthusiastic and talented individuals to join us as we grow. As part of Munich Re Group, we are a unique organization providing expertise in specialty and marine lines of insurance as well as surety risks and customs bonds with in-house claims solutions.

We are seeking a full-time Associate Claims Resolution Specialist to join the Roanoke Insurance Group division in our Schaumburg, Illinois office.

Job Profile

  • Fast-paced environment with daily monitoring of 500+ ongoing claim files.
  • Communication by phone and email with parties involved in the claims process to assist in the resolution of claims.
  • Consult with management, underwriting, and sales teams regarding claims activity.
  • Distribution of claims reports to communicate insurance risk.
  • Analysis of regulatory laws to draft protests and petitions to reduce claims exposure.
  • Develop expertise in claims handling to educate clients.
  • Conduct thorough investigations of claims to determine coverage and liability.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners including attorneys and other industry experts.
  • Remain current with industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging trends in claims oversight.
  • Participate in quality assurance and quality control initiatives to ensure high standards of claims handling.
  • Analyze claims data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
  • Communicate complex claims information to non-technical stakeholders, including policyholders, agents, and brokers.
  • Work closely with underwriters to ensure that claims are properly documented and supported.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

MRSGM NA is open to considering candidates in numerous locations, including Schaumburg, IL. The salary range posted below applies to the Company's Schaumburg, IL location. The base salary range anticipated for this position is $50,000 to $65,000. In addition, the Company makes available a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, 401k match, paid holidays, sick time, and paid vacation.
