Job description
Fully Remote Teacher/Coach of Competitive Debate for K12 students.
Introduction
Our team is currently seeking two passionate and engaging teachers to host competitive online debates for learners aged 10-17. This is a long term collaboration with automatic quarterly promotions. We want team members excited to grow our practice and benefit from that growth.
Requirements
- Candidates must be legal residents of the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand or the U.K.

- An expansive knowledge of current events, economics, history, political science and philosophy.
- Positivity and a passion for teaching are absolutely critical; these qualities osmosis into the entire classroom dynamic and are essential for setting the tone for each class. Each class is run as a game - you need to keep the energy up while injecting coaching, encouragement and flow.Â
Responsibilities
- Host and judge PF, Policy and Parli debates for learners across different ability levels in a digital classroom
- This is not a passive tutoring role. Coaches are expected to actively interrupt, redirect, question, and improve student arguments throughout class.
