Position Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced high school history and political science teacher to join our dynamic faculty team. The ideal candidate should have a rich background in history and political science, capable of teaching various courses including United States History, Honors United States History, United States History since the Civil War Honors, AP United States History, World History (Since 1450), Honors World History, AP World History: Modern, AP European History, World Geography, AP Human Geography, United States Government and Politics, AP United States Government and Politics, Honors United States Government and Politics, or AP Comparative Government and Politics. The candidate should demonstrate a commitment to fostering an inclusive and engaging learning environment while promoting critical thinking, analytical skills, and effective communication among students.
Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging lessons aligned with the curriculum standards and objectives of the assigned history and political science courses.
  • Establish a supportive and inclusive classroom environment, encouraging student participation, collaboration, and respect for diverse perspectives.
