Job description

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Regulatory Reporting Consultant for our banking client on a project basis. This role is on-site out of Charlotte, NC.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert for regulatory reporting policy and interpretation, with a focus on FR Y-14 reporting requirements and related regulatory guidance.
  • Analyze new and evolving regulatory requirements, assess reporting impacts, and provide authoritative interpretations to business, finance, risk, and regulatory reporting stakeholders.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance regulatory reporting policies, procedures, governance documentation, and interpretation memos.
  • Lead the resolution of complex reporting issues by researching regulations, benchmarking interpretations, and driving alignment across stakeholders.
  • Evaluate the impact of business initiatives, transactions, and system changes on regulatory reporting obligations and reporting methodology.
  • Partner with Regulatory Reporting, Finance, Risk, Compliance, and Internal Audit teams to ensure consistent application of regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or other related fields
  • 7+ years of relevant regulatory reporting experience
  • Qualified applicants must reside in the continental U.S.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
