Job description

We are looking for an experienced Technical Writer 3 with a strong background in administrative and technology IT governance policies and procedures for a long-term onsite opportunity with the State of Ohio.

Key Responsibilities:

- Draft administrative technology policies for the Department of Technology

- Research IT policies and procedures from public sector organizations (States, Counties, Local Governments, Universities)

- Collaborate with DOT leadership, senior staff, and legal teams to review and update policy documents

- Prepare PowerPoint presentations and assist with workgroup meetings

Required Experience:

- 4+ years of experience writing administrative / technology IT governance policies and procedures

- 3+ years of experience researching market trends and policy frameworks for public sector IT organizations

This is a 100% onsite role located at 1111 E Broad Street, Columbus, OH.
