THE DAY-TO-DAY:
  • Manage Human Resources responsibilities for assigned department(s) to include: creating a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect and employee satisfaction; quality hiring, training and succession planning processes that encompass the company's diversity commitment
  • Oversee assigned shift to ensure operations are meeting Gaming Control Agency and Title 31 standards
  • Ensure the execution of games are within compliance of state and property regulations and policies and Inform Surveillance and Gaming Control Agency agents if tampering or cheating is suspected.
  • Notifies supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft
  • Monitor activity at Poker tables to including seating issues, game decisions, guest disputes, and suspicious activity to authority and escalate to Poker Manager if necessary
  • Operate all aspects of Poker Watch software including facilitating all poker cage transactions
  • Review all Poker Room advertisements for accuracy, and assure they are prepared in a timely fashion for the magazines we do business with
  • Protect the confidentiality of all company files and documents under their immediate control
  • Maintain a professional, friendly, and courteous atmosphere that provides guests with an exceptional gaming experience and ensures efficient operations

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Two years of prior relevant experience
  • Previous experience dealing the game of Poker preferred
  • Ability to work a varied shift to include weekends, holidays, and evenings

Pay Range:
The pay range for this role is:
$70,400.00 - $93,900.00
This range represents a good faith estimate of the salary range that MGM reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.
This position is eligible to participate in the Company's incentive plan.
Employees in this position are eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) plans, and time off plans. Specific program offerings vary by eligibility factors such as geographic location, employment status, and union membership.
