ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Directly supervise and coach hourly team members.
Maintain proper staffing levels.
Schedule dealer team breaks and table assignments.
Report all room, staffing, guest, or dealer needs directly to Poker Manager.
Supervise and manage waitlist, player tracking, dealer tap ins, and general room procedures.
Create, enroll, start, supervise, pay, and close poker tournaments according to TDA guidelines.
Assures compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, policies and rules including but not limited to State Poker regulations and company policies and procedures.
Assures compliance with Federal regulations including IRS as well as interacts with state gaming regulatory commission as needed.
Investigates and resolves guest complaints and issues.
Implements and enforces all departmental and organizational policies, rules and procedures during the events and games.
Manage and control poker and dealer banks, cash handling, chip fills, chip running and distribution.
Record, report, and verify payment for all room promotions.
Update, print, control, and distribute poker reports daily.
Manage and update poker room MTL and CTR.
Provide accurate accounting of guest hourly play.
Maintain and supervise food and drink safety controls for poker room.
Run food and ice to and from room.
Ensure cleanliness of poker room.
Any other duties as assigned within the scope of this position.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Must have an understanding of and comply with all Title 31 rules and regulations.
Computer skills with the ability to navigate, update, and create reports on Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Bravo, and Synkros.
Listen and respond to guest and team member inquiries in a positive and professional manner.
Read, speak and understand the English language in order to communicate with guests and team members.
Strong knowledge of all poker rules and regulations, along with, the ability to easily coach these rules and regulations to both guests and team members when needed.
Multi-task while maintaining a calm and pleasant demeanor towards guests and team members.
Ability of simple reading, writing, math, and task completion skills is required.
Must have the following skills: compiling, coordination, analyzing, supervising, instructing, following instructions, influencing others, memorization, problem solving, independent judgment, and decision making.
Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate.
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
1 year previous dealing experience and supervisory experience or any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES
Must be able to maintain appropriate Gaming License & Alcohol Awareness card.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the team member is constantly standing, walking, bending over, occasionally sitting, reaching overhead, crouching, and kneeling during the duration of their shift.
Must be able to lift/carry 25lbs or less constantly occasionally.
The team member will constantly have repetitive use of both hands and require constant light and firm/strong grasping motions. Finger dexterity of both hands will be constantly required.
Constant use of vision abilities is required including distance, depth perception, field of vision, and color vision.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
