Hiring a support group facilitator for University of Minnesota medical residents. 

Job duties include:

• Guiding discussions with U of M residents twice monthly
• Managing group dynamics to create a safe and inclusive environment for members to share experiences and provide mutual support
• The residents need to feel safe to speak/share freely with the facilitator. Nothing shared during support group should impact their evaluation process in the residency program.
   

All required qualifications must be documented on application materials.

Required Qualifications:

• MD and experience of at least two years full-time employment 
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Experience leading discussions without bias
• Mentoring experience in a healthcare setting
   

The Department of Family Medicine and Community Health at the University of Minnesota was created more than 50 years ago in response to a legislative mandate to train primary care physicians. We sponsor five fellowship programssports medicine, hospice and palliative medicine, behavioral medicine, clinical informatics, and human sexuality and offer continuing medical education opportunities. Pay Rate: $35.00 per hour; depending on education/qualifications/experience.
