The Custodian 2 is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and custodial upkeep of all assigned spaces by the Facilities Department management.
Minimum Qualifications
Six months of experience in custodial, housekeeping, groundskeeping, or food service work.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
  • Clean and sanitize restroom and bathroom areas using established practices and procedures.
  • Ensure all floors are swept, vacuumed, mopped, and maintained in accordance withthe Master Cleaning Schedule and as assigned.
  • Refill all restroom dispensers to ensure an adequate supply of paper products as assigned.
  • Performs specialized floor maintenance and upkeep utilizing established protocols and industrial-grade machinery.
  • Acts as the primary point of contact for the notification of janitorial supply inventory needs.
  • Complete all monthly, quarterly, and annual deep cleaning tasks identified in the Master Cleaning Schedule and as assigned.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. Learned physical skill is required for proper, safe lifting and material handling techniques. Must be able to lift and move heavy equipment and material (25+) lbs.
