Linden Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the teamat our Skilled Nursing Facility in Brooklyn, NY!

The AllureGroup is a consortium of six rehabilitation centers across Brooklyn andManhattan, NY, specializing in post-acute and sub-acute skilled nursing andrehabilitation. We pride ourselves on providing a high standard of care forpatients of all ages and conditions while upholding an environment ofkindness, dignity, and respect for employees and residents alike. As a LicensedPractical Nurse at The Allure Group, you would be part of a winning teamdoing meaningful work to improve the quality of life, health, and comfort ofresidents.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)Responsibilities

  • Make rounds to observe residents and nursingcare
  • Review and integrate the Nursing Care Plan toreflect physical emotional, restorative, rehabilitative, teaching, and goalswith the medical care prescribed
  • Provide proper transcription and execution ofphysical orders
  • Utilize the capabilities of staff members toprovide quality resident care
  • Order medication and supplies for the nursingunit and residents
  • Control the counting and recording ofmedications
  • Maintain proper and accurate documentation andmaintenance of clinical records
  • Cooperate and communicate withinter-departmental and facility personnel to nursing services are beingadequately maintained
  • Meet with other nursing personnel to assist inidentifying and correcting problem areas, and/or improvement of services
  • Provide direct patient care when needed

Requirements

  • Valid NYS LPN license
  • Exceptional communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills

Preferred

  • Previousexperience in long-term care
  • Previous experiencewith Point Click Care
