The Medical Assistant-Podiatry plays a vital role in supporting podiatric care within a busy clinic environment. Reporting to the Podiatrist and Clinic Manager, this position contributes to patient care through preparing patients, assisting with a variety of podiatry procedures including minor surgeries, wound care, orthotic fittings, and routine check-ups. The role works closely within a large team, ensuring effective clinical and administrative support while maintaining patient comfort and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for podiatric examinations and procedures
  • Assist during minor surgeries, wound care, orthotic fittings, and routine check-ups
  • Maintain sterilization of instruments and clinical areas
