Job Description

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are looking for a versatile and growth-minded Channel Marketing Specialist to join the Digital & Social Media team within Marketing & Communications. In this role, you will lead the planning and execution of the AAFP podcast channel and other emerging channels. You will support other owned marketing channels of AAFP, collaborating with fellow colleagues of the Digital & Social Media Team.
The ideal candidate understands the fundamentals of marketing strategy and omnichannel digital marketing and is highly organized, curious, proactive, and eager to learn. They enjoy working across multiple marketing channels, are comfortable managing several projects simultaneously, thrive in a collaborative environment, take initiative and embrace new technologies, digital marketing trends, and emerging marketing channels.
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Podcast Production: 2-4 years of experience coordinating, producing and promoting podcasts and/or webinars. Responsibilities include leading execution of podcast initiatives, from working with podcast content team to coordinating guests and schedules to producing and promoting, ensuring alignment with overall marketing objectives.
  • Performance Analysis and Reporting: 2-4 years of experience analyzing and reporting on performance data across channels, utilizing metrics and KPIs to assess effectiveness and drive continuous improvement and using data-driven insights to drive actionable growth.
  • Channel Marketing Support: 2-4 years of experience supporting the planning, execution, and optimization of digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, paid media, and other channels in collaboration with channel marketing teams.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Hubspot, Streamyard, Libsyn, Descript, YouTube, Google Advertising, social media platforms).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including content creators, writers, designers, and/or channel strategies, to produce cohesive marketing efforts and maximize impact across channels.
  • Proven experience in podcast production and marketing is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree with 2-4 years' work experience
