Videographer & Video Editor (Onsite Content Producer) | Premium Brand Storytelling

Bolt Farm Treehouse

Whitwell, TN • On-site

$75K - $95K/yr

Full-time

Posted 18 days ago

Job description

BOLT FARM is building America's most iconic romantic luxury retreat brand: nature-immersed, high-experience, and emotionally transformative. Backed by 3,300+ five-star reviews, 1M+ followers, and features across Forbes, Travel + Leisure, and Netflix, we're scaling from a high-performing flagship into a national portfolio. If you want to operate at the ground floor of a brand with real momentum, high standards, and a team obsessed with doing it right, this is your seat.
This role is for a hands-on videographer and video editor who also thinks like a content producer. You've probably heard this role described as a "Shredditor" or a "Triple-Threat Content Creator". It is a speed and volume game. You will be shipping content quickly and regularly. If you are a perfectionist who needs weeks to "polish," this will not be a fit.
WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT WORKING AT BOLT FARM
Create work that positively impacts lives.
This is not generic content production. You'll capture a brand built around reconnection, beauty, romance, and emotional transformation.
• Trade corporate bureaucracy for real creative ownership.
No sterile, rigid machine. No endless layers of approvals. You'll have room to make strong creative decisions and shape how BOLT FARM shows up visually.
• Work closely with inspiring founders
You will learn a lot by working closely with founders Seth and Tori Bolt, who are thought leaders and pioneers in the experiential hospitality industry.
• Grow more than you would anywhere else
Our goal is simple: either you build a long, meaningful career at BOLT FARM, or this becomes the most valuable launch pad of your life for whatever comes next.
• Work with a high-performing team who care about standards.
This is a high-expectation environment for people who take the craft seriously and love winning and reaching their goals.
YOU KNOW YOU'RE A GREAT FIT FOR THIS ROLE...
You have a strong eye for visual storytelling and know how to make a place feel emotional, aspirational, and real on camera. You can walk onto a property, understand the story, capture the right moments, and deliver a high-quality video that feels intentional.
You are an action-taker. When you get direction, you translate it into immediate action - you shoot, you cut, you deliver. You don't need an enormous amount of research, briefing, or certainty before you start; you build momentum first and refine as you go. You don't let gear and widgets get in the way of capturing the moment. Your attention to detail is a strength that sharpens the work rather than slowing it down. Perfectionism never gets in the way of shipping.
You wear three hats, in this order of priority:
  1. Shooter first - this is the heart of the role. High-quality lighting and audio is a baseline. You shoot well, move fast, and make strong creative calls in the moment.
  2. Editor second - you can take your own footage from raw to finished video ready to post.
  3. Producer mind third - you think ahead about story, shot planning, and how content gets reused. During shoots, you notate the moments that hit.

You are creative, organized, and independent. You do not need constant direction. You understand framing, pacing, light, movement, story, and brand taste.
THE CORE MISSION
Bring BOLT FARM and it's founder's story to life through premium onsite video content that strengthens brand perception, fuels organic media, and helps more people feel the emotional pull of the guest experience before they ever arrive.
WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS
BOLT FARM has a powerful physical product and a deeply emotional brand promise. The opportunity now is to create a more consistent, elevated, and reusable stream of video content that captures that promise clearly. This role helps turn founder-led moments, property details, guest-experience scenes, coaching content, and future podcast/media assets into polished creative that supports storytelling, demand generation, and long-term brand authority.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Shooting: plan and execute onsite video shoots that reflect BOLT FARM's premium brand and guest experience.
• Capture compelling founder-led, property-led, and guest-experience moments that feel elevated, emotional, and true to the BOLT FARM experience.
• Editing: own your footage from raw through polished, final delivery.
• Bring a producer's mind: plan shots, sequence stories, and identify the moments that will make the best content in the moment
• Run live AV production for virtual trainings and the BOLT podcast.
• Manage footage, project files, and asset organization so content can be easily found, reused, edited, and repurposed over time.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
  • 48-hour turnaround time from shoot to ship.
  • BOLT FARM has a strong, consistent stream of premium video content coming from the property every week.
  • The media team has organized, usable footage that can quickly become social posts, campaign assets, coaching content, founder content, and long-form storytelling.
  • The brand looks and feels more elevated online because the content finally matches the quality, emotion, and beauty of the real guest experience.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• 2+ years of professional videography and video editing experience.
• A portfolio showing strong visual quality, polished final output, and premium brand-facing content.
• A demonstrated bias to action - you take direction and move immediately to execute, without needing exhaustive research or briefing before you start. You've likely worked at a start-up or founder-led company.
• Experience with professional camera gear and comfort shooting high-quality content as well as iPhone.
• Experience flying a drone.
• Ability to regularly work onsite (in Whitwell, TN) on a flexible basis; must live within about an hour's commute.
NICE TO HAVE
• Experience creating founder-led or personality-led content.
• Experience shooting documentary-style content.
• Experience in luxury hospitality, boutique travel, wellness, or premium consumer brands.
• Strong photography capability in addition to videography.
COMPENSATION
OTE: $75,000-$95,000 (base plus performance pay)
Final compensation will depend on experience and demonstrated ability to create premium, brand-aligned content consistently.
EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER
BOLT FARM is an equal opportunity employer. We hire and promote based on merit, qualifications, performance, and business needs, and do not discriminate based on any characteristic protected by law.
