JD :

The Factory Manager is responsible for leading the ERP Migration Factory for Kinetic upgrade programs, driving scalable, high-quality delivery through a POD-based execution model. This role ensures alignment across multiple Service Transition Managers, POD teams, and shared services to deliver predictable, efficient, and high-throughput customer migrations.


Required Skills & Experience

  • 16โ€“20 years of experience in ERP delivery / large-scale transformation programs
  • Strong expertise in:
    • Kinetic or similar ERP / Kinetic upgrades and migrations
    • Factory / POD-based delivery models
    • Multi-team program management
  • Proven ability to:
    • Manage parallel large-scale migration programs
    • Drive delivery excellence at scale
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills

Key Responsibilities

1. Migration Factory Leadership

  • Own and manage the end-to-end Migration Factory delivery model
  • Lead multiple Service Transition Managers (STMs) and POD teams
  • Drive a factory-style execution approach ensuring:
    • Standardization
    • Repeatability
    • Scalability of migrations

2. POD-Based Delivery Management

  • Oversee multiple Migration PODs, each consisting of:
    • POD Lead
    • Functional Consultant(s)
    • Developers
    • Testers
  • Ensure optimal POD utilization and throughput
  • Balance workload across PODs (POD 1โ€ฆPOD n) based on pipeline demand

3. Stakeholder & Team Governance

  • Manage and align with:
    • Service Transition Managers (3+ streams)
    • Functional Consultants across PODs
    • Technical Architect
    • Shared Reports Developer
  • Establish governance across:
    • Delivery cadence
    • Status tracking (RAG)
    • Risk & issue management
  • Act as the single point of accountability for delivery excellence

4. Capacity & Throughput Optimization

  • Align pipeline demand with factory capacity
  • Drive:
    • Resource planning across PODs
    • Skill alignment (functional vs technical vs testing)
  • Optimize:
    • POD productivity
    • Cycle time for migrations
    • Parallel execution of multiple upgrades

5. Technical & Functional Oversight

  • Work closely with:
    • Technical Architect for solution design and standardization
    • Functional Consultants for business process alignment
  • Ensure adherence to:
    • Epicor Kinetic upgrade best practices
    • Migration frameworks and tools
  • Oversee shared services like:
    • Reports development
    • Data migration POD

6. Data Migration & Shared Services Integration

  • Govern Data Migration POD:
    • POD Lead and development team
  • Ensure seamless integration between:
    • Migration PODs
    • Data migration teams
    • Reporting and AI tool teams
  • Drive data accuracy, validation, and reconciliation processes

7. Continuous Improvement & Automation

  • Leverage AI Tool Team to:
    • Improve migration efficiency
    • Automate repetitive tasks
  • Establish:
    • Best practices
    • Reusable assets
    • Knowledge repositories
  • Continuously improve factory KPIs:
    • Throughput
    • Quality
    • Cost efficiency
