TITLE: POA Material Process SpecialistEMPLOYER: Airbus DS Military Aircraft, Inc. LOCATION: Mobile, AL DUTIES: Managing Risks and Opportunities associated with Material and Supply Services POA activities. Oversight of contract efforts, engineering changes, purchase requirement generation and part procurement. Managing P.O. activities for POA parts directly with the OEM vendors. Producing, monitoring and managing KPI data and reports (Key Process Indicators). Communicating with transporting couriers on delivery of spare parts. Establishing procedures, priorities, schedules, surveillance and coordination of procurement actions. Negotiating with OEM's for best vendor terms, pricing and delivery guarantee based on specific schedule requirements. Reviewing vendor database regularly for accuracy, maintaining and gathering current information as required. Preparing and delivering briefs, updates and reports to internal and external stakeholders, multi-functional teams. Certificate parts under EASA part 21 regulation (EASA Form1) for assuring airworthiness of parts. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Aviation Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field and 5 years in any job title involving experience in an aeronautical production business. In lieu of degree as stated, employer will accept 2 additional years in any job title involving experience in an aeronautical production business.
