Job description

UNIVERSAL Technologies is hiring a PMP Certified Project Manager with at least 8 years of experience managing complex software development projects for a hybrid role in New York City. The successful candidate will have experience in end-to-end project management in all phases of the software development lifecycle with preference given to Project Management/Scrum Management professionals local to New York City with a valid LinkedIn profile.

Required Core Competencies:

  • At least 8 years’ experience project managing large projects (end-to-end)
  • Must have PMP Certification
  • Experience in the construction industry is a plus
  • Experience managing project risks
  • Experience implementing organizational change management
  • Qualified candidates will have extensive experience in enterprise software development and infrastructure projects

Scope of Services:

  • Manage cross functional business and technical teams in an Agile Delivery environment to deliver Software Development and infrastructure projects
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously of varying size and scope
  • Create all project management artifacts including project schedules, project plan, status reports
  • Manage all communications with project stakeholders
  • Experience in Project Risk Management
  • Must have Organizational Change Management experience
  • Must be willing to work onsite at least 3 days per week
