Position type: Full time, Contract to hire
Duration: 6-8 months, Contract to hire
Location: Onsite in Spokane, WA
As a Project Manager- Construction you will:
Our client is seeking a Project Manager to support a portfolio of engineering and construction related projects. This role requires hands on coordination with technical teams, field staff, and external partners to ensure projects move efficiently through planning, design, permitting, and execution. Candidates must have experience managing engineering or construction projects and have worked within a PMO environment.
Duties:
  • Lead end to end delivery of engineering or construction projects, including planning, design coordination, execution, and closeout.
  • Work closely with engineering teams, field staff, contractors, vendors, and local agencies.
  • Build and maintain project schedules, budgets, scopes, and risk plans.
  • Support permitting, compliance, and documentation processes.
  • Facilitate project meetings, track action items, and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
  • Manage project controls, change orders, and stakeholder communication.
  • Provide regular reporting and updates to PMO leadership.
  • Ensure adherence to engineering standards, safety requirements, and regulatory guidelines.

Experience:
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience in engineering, construction, civil infrastructure, utilities, or similar technical environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
  • Experience with project controls, scheduling tools, and construction/engineering documentation.
  • Understanding of engineering workflows (design reviews, permitting, field coordination).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
