Our client is a leading organization undergoing a significant talent technology transformation focused on modernizing its recruiting and onboarding platforms. This opportunity offers the chance to play a critical role in a high-visibility initiative that will enhance talent acquisition operations, improve candidate experience, and streamline workforce onboarding processes.

Overview

The Contract PMO / Project Manager will lead the successful migration from iCIMS to Phenom (Applicant Tracking System) and UKG (Onboarding). This role is responsible for driving project governance, coordinating vendors and stakeholders, managing implementation activities, and ensuring a seamless transition to the new technology ecosystem.

Summary

This position is ideal for an experienced Project Manager with a proven track record delivering ATS migration and HR technology transformation projects. The successful candidate will bring strong PMO leadership, vendor management expertise, and the ability to guide cross-functional teams through complex system implementations, integrations, and go-live activities.

Responsibilities

Lead ATS and onboarding platform migration projects.

Manage project timelines, budgets, risks, and resources.

Coordinate activities across vendors and key stakeholders.

Oversee data migration and system cutover efforts.

Manage system integrations across HR technology platforms.

Facilitate project meetings and stakeholder communications.

Coordinate testing, issue resolution, and deployment readiness.

Track project performance and mitigate delivery risks.

Provide executive status updates and project reporting.

Partner with HR, Talent Acquisition, IT, and vendors.

Support go-live execution and post-launch transition activities.

Ensure deliverables meet business and project objectives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, Human Resources, Project Management, or a related field preferred.

5+ years of project management experience leading enterprise technology implementations.

Proven experience successfully leading Applicant Tracking System (ATS) migration projects.

Demonstrated PMO experience managing complex, cross-functional programs and project governance.

Experience coordinating multi-vendor technology implementations and third-party delivery teams.

Strong knowledge of project planning, risk management, dependency tracking, testing, and cutover execution.

Experience managing data migration, system integrations, and deployment activities within HR technology environments.

Ability to effectively communicate with executive leadership, HR, Talent Acquisition, IT, and external vendors.

Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and change coordination skills.

Experience with Phenom, UKG, and/or iCIMS platforms preferred.

Familiarity with talent acquisition, recruiting operations, onboarding, or HR systems environments preferred.

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent project management credentials preferred.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to lead complex initiatives.

Ability to work independently in a hands-on project leadership capacity within a contract engagement.
