Overview of YOUR role as a Director, Agile PMO The Director of Agile Project Management Office (PMO) is responsible for developing various methods and practices of project management into our client's Information Technology (IT) and eCommerce teams to accomplish the strategic objectives of the organization. You must be eligible to work in the US without Visa Sponsorship. As a Director, Agile PMO YOU will: Help define and build Agile strategies, framework, and appropriate program oversight across IT and eCommerce, and work with all levels of the organization to influence and affect positive, sustainable change Facilitate teams of senior staff through detailed and complex projects, particularly relating to strategic objectives including complex process and execution, escalating impediments, managing risk, driving high level continuous improvement, and ensuring value delivery across IT and eCommerce customer base Partner with the executive team and department leaders to build consensus around the strategic objectives and the role of Agile in the organization to foster a product-oriented culture Work closely with stakeholders to define the optimal operating model Develop and take a leading role in the Agile practice, putting in place the systems, processes, and ways of working to sustain a high performing team, where skill development, increased agility, collaboration and improved ways of working are keys to success Instill a learning culture to continuously inspect and adapt methodology and efficiency Facilitate alignment to the cross-departmental work efforts Lead in portfolio and program management process improvement Coordinate cross-functional teams, planning activities including annual planning to ensure effective budget management Conduct periodic reviews with leadership teams and stakeholders to validate portfolio and re-prioritize, as necessary, to meet needs Lead general communications, planning, and execution related to the team assigned to "Office of IT" operations Perform other duties as assigned YOU are the ideal Director, Agile PMO candidate if you have: Bachelor's degree in a related field and ten (10) years of related experience or an equivalent combination (required) Must have led or played a significant leadership role in a medium to large size organization's Agile transformation Demonstrated experience and success leading diverse teams in a hybrid working environment (on-premises, hybrid and remote teams) Experience with multiple Agile and lean methodologies Program management skills and experience Experience successfully executing programs that meet the objectives of excellence in a dynamic environment within a global organization Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to develop and communicate the strategic vision, and inspire and motivate staff Distinctive blend of business, IT, financial and communication skills Strategic leader able to energize the appropriate teams in the organization Thorough planning and tracking skills, well-organized, focused on results, capable of managing multiple projects Excellent time management with respect to priorities and self management Excellent judgement and problem-solving skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution Ability to leverage both internal and external resources to expedite and deliver projects Ability to work in a team environment, create timelines and continually make necessary adjustments Excellent meeting facilitation skills and group problem-solving methods Excellent writing, presentation and oral communication skills Active listening skills Budget responsibility experience Supervisory experience with 5-10 direct reports Must be eligible to work in the US without Visa Sponsorship It's a BONUS if you have: Practical certification such as Scrum Alliance Certified Agile Leadership, Scaled Agile Framework Certification, Kanban, Certified Coaching or Change Management certification experience Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe Agilist and SAFe Practice Consultant (SPC) and other relevant lean and agile certifications About Our CLIENT Our client supports the industrial marketplace by providing maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) parts and services through a large North American branch network.
