Technical Services Representative
Southern California
$140,000 Base + Bonus (OTE $160,000+) + Company Vehicle + 401(k) + Comprehensive Benefits
Our Client:
Our client is a leading manufacturer in the Building Envelope Industry, recognized for delivering innovative, high-performance solutions to the residential construction markets. Their division continues to experience strong growth, and they are looking to add a Technical Service Representative to support and expand their presence throughout Southern California.
The Role:
This is a highly field-based position where you'll be the technical expert for your territory. You'll work closely with contractors, applicators, distributors and consultants, helping customers specify, apply and maximize the performance of the company's product systems.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting on jobsites.
  • Delivering product demonstrations and applicator training.
  • Building long-term relationships with contractors, distributors and key industry influencers.
  • Working closely with the Sale Representative and product teams to ensure customers receive the highest level of support.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the road, solving problems, and becoming a trusted partner to their customers.
The Candidate
We're looking for someone who combines technical knowledge with a consultative approach. You are confident speaking with contractors and installers, comfortable on jobsites, and enjoy helping customers find practical solutions.
The ideal candidate will bring:
  • Experience in building envelope products.
  • Strong knowledge of Insulation, building science, coatings, roofing or any technical products
  • Experience with equipment such as Graco, PMC or similar systems is a strong asset.
  • The ability to deliver technical presentations and product training.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A self-driven, organized approach with the ability to manage a large territory independently.
  • Willingness to travel throughout Southern California (approximately 70%).
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers throughout Southern California.
