Job description

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with 2+ years of experience, ARRT(M) certification, and CA licensure for an outpatient imaging center assignment.
Job Details
• Outpatient imaging center setting, working across up to 3 locations,
• Procedures include diagnostic mammograms, screening mammograms, and digital mammography,
• Uses Hologic 3D mammography equipment,
• Epic EMR - experience required,
• Standard schedule is M-F, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (5x8-hour day shifts),
• Rotating weekend schedule alternates to T-F 8:30 AM-5:00 PM with Saturday 8:00 AM-4:30 PM and Monday off,
• Approximately one Saturday per month required,
• Position requires floating between multiple facility locations,
Job Requirements
• Minimum 2 years of mammography technologist experience,
• ARRT(M) and BLS (AHA or ARC) certifications required,
• CRT (California Certified Radiologic Technologist) certification required,
• CA state mammography licensure required - license required if applicable,
• Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology,
• Proficiency with diagnostic and screening mammograms and digital mammography,
• Experience with Hologic 3D equipment preferred,
• Epic EMR experience required,
• 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration,
• Candidates must be located more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates; local candidates within 50 miles are accepted at a local rate,
Additional Information
• Perform diagnostic and screening mammograms using digital and 3D mammography technology across multiple imaging locations,
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position,
• Former employees may return without a required separation period per submission guidelines; however, recruiter notes indicate a 1-year separation may be required - confirm current policy with your recruiter,
• Up to 7 days of RTO allowed per contract; only 1 holiday may be requested off per contract,
• Holidays covered include New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas (holiday period begins at 7:00 PM the night before and ends at 7:00 AM the day after),
• 7-year work history verification required,
• Online orientation modules are completed prior to or during orientation; module hours vary by specialty
