PM&R - Spine, Pain or Sports opening in New York
Located in Cooperstown, NY
Full-Time & Permanent
Seeking a BE/BC PM&R doctor with fellowship training in Spine, Sports, Pain to join practice.
Details:
  • Group employed, salaried physician model with competitive salary and retirement package
  • Currently four physiatrists in the Division with plans to expand
  • Referral Base provided by over 100 Primary Care Clinicians
  • 100% outpatient care. No inpatient coverage or hospital call responsibilities
  • No opioid medication management • Broad spectrum of MSK focused patient care.
  • Currently providing interventional spine care, MSK care, non-surgical orthopedic issues, EMG, sports medicine, and Osteopathic Manipulation
  • Potential for EMG if desired, but not required
  • Focus on interventional procedures, primarily fluoroscopic based.
  • Opportunity for MSK Ultrasound for both guidance and diagnostics
  • Potential to develop research projects with support from Institutional Research center
  • Potential for local sports team coverage if desired
  • 180 Bed Primary Hospital with Level Ill Trauma Center
  • Close patient care collaboration with Bassett Neurosurgery, Orthopedic surgery, Hand surgery, and other specialties
  • Small town living with outstanding quality of life, ability to develop a healthy work - life balance, and do so in an academic environment
  • Academic component with rotating Internal Medicine Residents as well as Interns. Also Medical students from Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons
  • Fully integrated EPIC Electronic Medical Record
  • Salary Range: $247,743 -$339,756. plus performance-based compensation. This compensation range represents Healthcare's good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards
