Job description

Responsible for assisting higher-level engineers in evaluating, selecting, ordering, installing, setting up, designing modifications for, testing, troubleshooting, improving performance, and establishing maintenance procedures for manufacturing equipment.
Requirements
  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Must be willing and able to work occasional overtime.
  • Good understanding of the electrical, mechanical, and software engineering principles to create and maintain automated processes.
  • Strong in AutoCAD, used to produce technical plans, blueprints, electrical layouts, drawings, and models required. SolidWorks.
  • Strong ability to program PLC's, HMIs, and industrial networks. (Omron PLC, Omron & Proface HMI are a plus).
  • Strong proficiency in setting up and programming VFD's.
  • Working knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology to produce various products. (Experience in chemical manufacturing process/powder handling is a plus.)
  • Ability to do electrical design for construction of new and modification of existing electrical panels (Properly size wires, breakers, components, etc. Follow NEC and NFPA regulations).
  • Proven ability to work on several projects simultaneously and independently under tight deadlines with driven and cost-effective results.
  • Strong analytical, math, data-analysis, problem-solving/root cause analysis, research, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all levels in a diverse environment and adapt to different interpersonal styles and communication methods.
  • Effective communication skills (fluent in English: reading, writing, and speaking) and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, primarily Excel).
  • Must be willing and able to work occasional overtime.
