Job description

We are looking for a positive and driven experienced Oregon licensed Journeyman plumber with in-depth knowledge of plumbing code, strong customer service skills, with most of their experience in remodels and repipes. Initially, the position will be primarily focused on residential service and repair, but evolve more so into a projects/remodel position.

This position earns a wage of $50 - $60+/hour, depending on experience, skillset, and growth within our company. Benefits include medical, a retirement plan with match, and paid time off (PTO). Additionally, we offer our Journeyman Plumbers a take-home work truck, a work phone, and company-provided tools and uniforms.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Diagnose, repair, install, and replace plumbing systems and components (e.g., drains, water heaters, toilets, fixtures, piping, etc.) in residential settings.
  • Provide thorough system inspections and explain findings, repair options, and recommendations to clients clearly and professionally
  • Ensure all work meets or exceeds code requirements, manufacturer specs, and customer expectations
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job specs to plan and execute installations
  • Maintain clear communication with customers, supervisors, and team members throughout each project
  • Document work performed, obtain necessary signatures, and process payments as required
  • Stay current with plumbing codes, municipal permit requirements, and company products/services
  • Maintain a professional appearance, drive safely, and uphold company standards of quality and service
  • Continuously build knowledge through training, study, and hands-on learning
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

The qualifications we are seeking for this role include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completed apprenticeship required
  • Minimum 3 years of professional Plumbing experience as licensed Journeyman.
  • Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
  • Current Oregon Journeyman license required.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team.
  • Experience with Housecall Pro and/or ServiceTitan
  • Ability to estimate labor, materials and timelines
  • Knowledge of local Plumbing codes and OSHA safety standards.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift 80+ lbs
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
  • Dependable, detail-oriented, and well-organized.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks under pressure.
  • Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
