Description Title: Lecturer, CC (Plumbing) Hiring Unit: Career and Technical Education Location: Kauai Community College Date Posted: February 20, 2026 Closing Date: Continuous recruitment Salary Information: Minimum $2053 per credit hour Full Time/Part Time: Part Time Temporary/Permanent: Temporary Other Conditions: Fall 2026, Part-time, for placement in lecturer candidate pool, non-tenurial, contingent on availability of funds and actual staffing requirements. Day, evening, or Saturday offerings, on- and off-campus. Duties and Responsibilities: Conduct courses in Plumbing Basics and Repair under general supervision.

Maintain office hours of at least one hour per week for each course taught. Prepare required course outlines, syllabi, and reports related to teaching and student progress. Integrate teaching efforts with other instructors in the discipline area under supervision of the division chairperson.

Collect student and peer evaluations and complete annual self-assessment of teaching effectiveness. Complete instructional assignments which may involve day, evening, early morning, weekend, Early College, and/or distance education classes, program outreach activities. Adhere to community college principles and philosophy.

Work effectively with a multicultural student and community population in accordance with the Board of Regents Policy 4.207 III.F.1 and college practice of the open-admission concept.
