Job Summary: The Supervisor, Maintenance (C-Shift) is responsible for leading a workforce in the maintenance, repair, and improvement of the building maintenance systems in industrial and commercial applications. Other responsibilities include planning and scheduling multi-craft maintenance personnel, determining material needs, recording work performed by team, assigning time and material charges to appropriate account numbers and ensuring safe work practices.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Supervises personnel to include participating on interview panels for new hires, training and on-boarding new employees, setting goals, assisting with goal achievement, providing feedback, and evaluating performance, approving leave and payroll submissions, and making job assignments.
  • Ensures personnel utilizes Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follows proper safety requirements.
  • Plans and schedules maintenance personnel and materials required to support maintenance activities
  • Schedules mandatory or essential meetings and classes for team members.
  • Adheres to and enforces requirements of MNAA’s policies and procedures.
  • Encourages team to participate in work programs related to inspection, coordination, and quality improvement.
  • Leads the maintenance, repair, and improvement of the facility electrical, plumbing, hvac, mechanical, and carpentry; schedules work orders based on safety, security, and time sensitivity.
  • Orders and receives material for the department; maintains spare parts, tool inventory, and electrical, mechanical, hvac, and plumbing schematics/technical manuals.
  • Assists with coordinating stakeholder project work activities at MNAA facilities.
  • Provides customer service to all tenants and passengers; works with major vendors of MNAA for proper service.
  • Operates within the constraints of an approved budget; participates in preparatory meetings for budget development; records work performed by team, and assigns time and material charges to appropriate account numbers.
  • Supports design and engineering projects.
  • May require working different shifts to help support the airports operational needs.
  • Follows all safety regulations.
  • Maintains regular, overtime, and on-call attendance.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High school diploma and associate's degree in related field or journeyman certification or related experience
  • Valid Class D Drivers license

Preferred:

  • American Association of Airport Executives' (AAAE) Certified Member
