About The Job:

Residential Service Plumber:
As a Plumber with Benjamin Franklin Plumbing, you will play a crucial role in delivering top-notch plumbing services to our valued customers. Your responsibilities will encompass performing precise repairs and installations, ensuring every job is completed with the utmost efficiency and professionalism. You will also actively contribute to sales by identifying customer needs and offering solutions that benefit both the customer and the company. Safety and customer satisfaction are at the core of everything we do, and you’ll be expected to uphold our high standards in every task you undertake.
 Primary responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional plumbing services, prioritizing customer satisfaction in every interaction.
  • Perform repairs and installations with skill and attention to detail.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell services or products that would benefit the customer.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity in all customer and team interactions.
  • Foster and maintain lasting relationships with customers by actively listening to their concerns and providing tailored solutions.
  • Ensure safety and regulatory compliance on every job site, adhering to all plumbing codes and company protocols.
  • Proactively respond to customer needs, providing recommendations based on their requirements and budget.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of verifiable plumbing experience in a residential service and maintenance operation

  • A sales-oriented mindset, understanding that explaining options and solutions to customers in an informative and consultative manner is essential to demonstrating your technical expertise
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and a commitment to adhering to safety regulations
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and a thorough understanding of plumbing systems
  • Outstanding communication and customer service skills, with a focus on upselling and providing added value
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting
 
Educational/certification requirements:

  • GED or High School Diploma

Preferences:
  • Journeyman License 
 
Physical requirements:
  • Ability to stand, walk, and climb ladders and stairs.
  • Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl.
  • Natural or corrected vision to see and focus for close, distance, peripheral vision with normal depth perception.
