Job Overview:

Are you a skilled and experienced Residential Plumbing Install Lead seeking an opportunity to thrive in a collaborative and growth-oriented environment? Would you like to work for a company that promotes a culture of trust, fairness, community, and innovation?

Sierra Air is seeking motivated plumbers to join our growing team! The ideal candidate possesses at least 3-5 years' plumbing experience, integrity, the ability to build and maintain relationships, and the ability to effectively offer the best solutions for our customers' plumbing needs. We are hiring for both Install and Service.

Join our team and receive a $5,000 sign on bonus for qualifying candidates

Pay Range: $75,000-$200,00+ including commission

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Repair and maintain pipes, valves, drainage systems, and fixtures in residential structures
  • Inspect and test plumbing systems for safety, code compliance and functionality
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems
  • Prepare cost estimates
  • Collect payment for services rendered when required
  • Follow through on job problems and communicate issues with Dispatch
  • Keep abreast of all company sales promotions and pricing
  • Attend training classes and seminars to maintain expertise in the field
  • On call rotations

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-5 years' plumbing experience
  • In depth knowledge of Code requirements for the installation of Water Heaters, Tankless Water Heaters, Water Softeners, whole home Re-Pipes and Re-Drains
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Experience with Service Titan 
  • Ability to work independently and self-manage
  • Able to adapt to new roles and responsibilities
  • General sales skills and aptitude
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Conduct self in a professional manner at all times
  • Proficient with technology

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Work will be performed in both indoor and outdoor settings, in various weather conditions, including temperatures above 100 degrees, snow, and other inclement weather; from heights, on ladders, in small spaces, and on rooftops. Frequent standing, squatting, and sitting for extended periods of time is required. Must be able to perform the following:
  • Occasionally lift objects weighing up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to ascend/descend ladders and balance
  • Regularly use hands to handle and feel objects
  • Sit, walk, stoop, stand
  • The ability to see up close and at a distance
