Apartment Maintenance Technician – Immediate Hiring

Location: Sparks, NV
Pay: $18–$22/hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Career Strategies is seeking a reliable and skilled Apartment Maintenance Technician to join a well-maintained apartment community in Reno, NV. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated maintenance professional who takes pride in quality work, enjoys solving problems, and is committed to providing exceptional resident service.

Responsibilities

  • Complete service requests and maintenance work orders in a timely manner.
  • Perform apartment turns, including painting, drywall repair, cleaning, and basic carpentry.
  • Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance issues.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure the community remains safe and well-maintained.
  • Maintain the appearance of common areas and property grounds.
  • Respond professionally to resident maintenance concerns while providing outstanding customer service.
  • Assist with additional maintenance projects as assigned by the property management team.

Qualifications

  • Previous apartment maintenance, residential maintenance, or related maintenance experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, appliance repair, and general building maintenance.
  • HVAC certification is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
