In this role, you will work with a team of industry experts to help the world's leading companies solve their most difficult problems. You will join our Architecture/Engineering Process Practice and partner with seasoned leaders, technical specialists, and subject matter experts to deliver the highest quality solutions to our clients with consistency and accuracy.

What You'll Do

You'llwork individually and in teams tosupport capital projectsand implement solutionsfor ourclients.Together, you will help our clients make critical changes to improve their performance and realize their most important goals.

  • Design plumbing systems including domestic water, sanitary, storm, natural gas, lab gases, gas/vacuum, specialized waste, and performance-spec fire protection for a variety of manufacturing facilitiesinthefoodandbeverage,consumer product, life science,and advanced technology industries
  • Perform pressure loss, pump head, roof drain, fixture unit, water heater, and all other necessary calculations to support system design
  • Develop construction drawings for domestic water, sanitary, and storm systems, including general notes, plans, riser diagrams, details, and schedules
  • Interpret and apply industry codes and standards
  • Develop specifications and review vendor submittals
  • Conduct on-site assessment and construction progress site visits includingreporting
  • Handle construction administration including submittal reviews, and closeoutactivities(includingrecord drawings and punch lists)
  • Respond to construction requests for information
  • Make an impact day-to-day with your skills andexpertise, strengthening that relationship with our clients and team

What You'll Bring

  • ASPE Certified in Plumbing Design (CPD) active certification highly preferred. Professional Engineer (PE) License preferred: A testament to your expertise and commitment to plumbing engineering excellence.
  • 6+ Years of Engineering Experience: Proven track record in mechanical engineering, with a specialization in plumbing design for industrial facilities.
  • Plumbing Code Mastery: Strong understanding of Uniform and International Plumbing Codes.
  • On-site Experience: Field experience in the construction and installation of industrial plumbing systems.
  • Design and Problem-Solving Skills: Proficiency in designing complex systems and solving challenging engineering problems.
  • Experience in Industrial Facilities: Demonstrated project design in food, beverage, consumer packaged goods and life science sectors. Project design in semiconductor, data center, cleanrooms, or other high-tech industrial facilities are preferred. Having design and construction experience in GMP and cGMP facilities will be a plus.
  • Software Skills: Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD and experience with Navisworks. Proficiency in MS Office productivity software is a baseline requirement. Pipe-flo and Ceaser II experience is a plus.
  • Effective Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to Travel: Availability to travel 10-20% for project needs.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from an ABET accredited institution.

The approximate pay range for this position is $100,000-$150,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
