Position Summary

We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to provide leadership and support for the facility’s Maintenance Department. This role is responsible for planning, organizing, staffing, and supervising maintenance operations while ensuring the proper functioning and upkeep of the facility’s physical plant and equipment.

This includes oversight of the interior and exterior of the building, HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, generators, and other facility equipment. The Maintenance Supervisor will coordinate maintenance services with other departments and assist facility leadership in maintaining a safe and efficient environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide direction and supervision for maintenance department operations
  2. Maintain the physical plant including building interior and exterior
  3. Oversee maintenance of HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, generators, and other facility equipment
  4. Coordinate maintenance services and activities with other facility departments
  5. Supervise Maintenance Assistant(s), if applicable
  6. Maintain required documentation and coordinate personnel actions with the Administrator
  7. Participate in Department Head and corporate meetings as scheduled
  8. Collaborate with facility leadership and management team
  9. Serve as Weekend Manager as scheduled
  10. Respond to emergency situations as needed
Qualifications
  1. Training and experience in environmental control and physical plant maintenance
  2. Experience with repair and maintenance of equipment including:
  3. Refrigeration systems
  4. Air conditioning / HVAC systems
  5. Generators
  6. Plumbing systems
  7. Electrical systems
  8. Security systems
  9. Minimum of one (1) year of maintenance experience or related field
  10. Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
  11. Positive attitude and ability to work with elderly and disabled populations
  12. Ability to perform the essential functions of the job
