Job Summary:
Google is a leading technology company that focuses on developing next-generation technologies that transform how users connect and interact with information. They are seeking a Software Developer to work on critical projects related to AI and XR, designing APIs and features for 3D Game Engines and OpenXR. The role involves full-stack delivery and requires versatility and leadership qualities as the company evolves.
Responsibilities:
• Design and implementation of APIs and features for plugins and packages for 3D Game Engines, sample applications and test cases.
• Develop new OpenXR APIs that provide XR perception tracking features, rendering and inputs.
• Include full stack delivery of all features for all surfaces.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with one or more of the following: C++, C#, Unity, Game Engines.
Preferred:
• Experience in Game Engine Development.
• Experience with OpenXR.
• Experience with Vulkan or OpenGL.
