Medical Alert Device Installer (Contract-as needed)
About the Role:
Service Point is looking for an independent contractor to deliver, set up, and test medical alert systems and medication dispensers in clients' homes. We provide all training, certifications, inventory, and background checks.
What You Will Do
  • Schedule: Contractors schedule with customers directly to complete their install service or removal-we do not sell product or handle money.
  • Travel: Drive your own vehicle to clients' homes within location radius of coverage-typically 30 miles
  • Install & Teach: Set up their "plug-and-play" emergency alert equipment and/or medication dispensers and test it with them. Explain how the device works to the client.
  • Retrieve: Pick up or swap out old equipment when needed. Ship back to agency with provided shipping labels.
  • Log Work & Communication: Use phone app and paperwork (per job type) to update the agency in timely manner.
Requirements
  • Vehicle: Reliable car, valid driver's license, and auto insurance.
  • Tech: Smartphone to use our work order apps.
  • Skills: Friendly, professional, and clear communicator.
  • Screening: Must pass background checks and a drug screen.
  • Inventory: Contractors hold inventory that is provided, quarterly counts required
  • Certifications: Service Point will provide required certifications to Contractors, updated yearly is a requirement
(Note: Experience in healthcare, EMS, fire, caregiving, or home health is a plus, but not required.)
