Title: Automation Technician (Assembly)
Location: Buffalo Grove, IL

Job Summary:
Flex is looking for an Automation Technician to support and maintain automated manufacturing equipment. The role involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and pneumatic systems, supporting equipment validation, and ensuring safe, efficient production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive maintenance on automation and robotic equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and pneumatic systems.
  • Support qualification and validation of automated manufacturing systems.
  • Maintain equipment documentation, test records, and operational data.
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve equipment performance.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in a technical field preferred.
  • 2–4+ years of automation, equipment maintenance, or related experience.
