Job Title: Controls Systems Engineer

Job Description

This role involves working on data center building automation with the potential for involvement in other verticals in the future. The role requires executing automation commissioning and validation protocols, troubleshooting and remediating non-conformances, and working collaboratively with internal engineers and clients to enhance control systems. The goal is to improve efficiency, product quality, and profitability in process manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Execute automation commissioning and validation protocols.
• Troubleshoot and remediate commissioning and validation non-conformances.
• Collaborate with internal engineers and clients to provide state-of-the-art control systems.
• Define and implement programmable logic controller (PLC) configurations.
• Perform testing and on-site commissioning and qualification of control systems.

Essential Skills

• Experience in PLC programming and automation.
• Proficiency in programming and control systems.
• Hands-on troubleshooting skills.
• Electrical and control system expertise.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in a related field.
• Sports or team enviornment experience
• Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude.
• Possess qualities of being hungry, humble, and smart.

Work Environment

The role begins in Atlanta, with a relocation to Miami, TX at the end of the year. The work environment encourages teamwork and collaboration, and the position involves both office-based and on-site work conditions.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Holly Springs, NC.

The pay range for this position is $39.00 - $45.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
