Job description

3rd shift position 

Sunday - Thursday 10:30pm - 7am

Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities: List the 4-8 essential functions of the job.
The technician must also have knowledge and ability to troubleshoot electrical component failures
Troubleshoot and repair AC / DC drives and motors.
Perform repairs and maintenance as necessary to maintain production at target efficiencies.
Perform and record assigned preventive maintenance tasks.
Housekeeping is a priority to provide a safe, clean and organized work environment.
Position requires a high level of mental alertness and attention to detail, as well as good physical health and strength.
May act as the design lead, programming lead, or owner's representative on selected.
Develop PLC architecture designs including Ethernet, ControlNet and Remote I/O. projects.


Minimum Qualifications and Experience Requirements: Provide hiring requirements necessary to successfully perform this job; indicate required and preferred levels for each category below.
Education
Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical education plus 5 years' experience
Experience
PLC programming required.
Prefer minimum of 5+ years of industrial maintenance service.
Knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC'S and PLC ladder programming along with various programming software PLC automation and motion experience desired
Knowledge of electrical testing equipment commonly used in an industrial plant, such as ammeters, voltmeters, Meggers, conduit benders, and other hand or power tools equipment related to the job.
Electrical experience in 480-230 1-3 phase services, troubleshooting circuits, motor starters, lighting and control wiring a plus.
Must be able to climb a ladder and work in high areas.
Ability to work well independently, as well as part of a team.
The ability to work accurately, thoroughly and meet deadlines.
