Job description

Software Engineer In Quality

We are looking for Software Engineers in Quality who are passionate about solving complex testing problems. You will be part of the Quality Engineering team responsible for finding automated solutions to these problems and helping teams to deploy with more confidence. The Quality Engineering team is ultimately responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of test automation systems. For this purpose, it works on the creation of software tools and test infrastructure that are used to perform feature verification and regression tests. The aim of the team is to drive quality-centric methodologies in the software development process.

Your Role:

  • Help us build and maintain test automation infrastructure.
  • Partner with the engineering team to integrate test suites into the continuous integration system.
  • Conduct and lead reviews and inspections of all elements in the software lifecycle to ensure that our product software quality goals are achieved.
  • Investigate common issues in our product and write automated tests that are reliable, fast and maintainable.

Must Have:

  • Strong programming experience (JavaScript/TypeScript Preferred) and understanding of software architecture.
  • Experience with Cypress.
  • 3+ years of experience as an SDET, including writing automation scripts for API and UI.
  • Ability to contribute to a collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, iterative development environment with short turn-around times.
  • End to End Test planning, Test Automation, and execution independently.
  • Should have a passion for testing, development, and designing test automation.
  • Ability to upgrade your technical skills with changing technologies and work independently.
  • Experience with cloud technologies, preferably AWS.

Nice to Have:

  • CI/CD experience.
  • Debugging using Splunk and Datadog.
  • Selenium, Playwright, or other equivalent test automation tools.

Reports To: Sr Quality Engineering Manager/Director of Quality Engineering

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Diploma or graduation or post-graduation.
  • 3+ years of related work experience.

Required Skills: Selenium, API, Automation, Javascript

Basic Qualification:

Additional Skills: UI Designer, QA Analyst, Quality Engineer, QA / Tester
