PRIMARY TASKS & MAJOR ACTIVITIES
Serve as a Site Aide for the eXtended Learning Time before- and after-school program (XLT) and operate in accordance with XLT guidelines and district policies and procedures. Successfully incorporate the XLT program vision and the district's mission into the activities at each site. Supervise play activities as requested by the XLT Site Supervisor by participating with children in group games, enforcing safety rules, intervening when children are likely to injure themselves or others, and remaining with the children at all times. Follow licensing, XLT program procedures, and district procedures to safeguard the health and safety of the children in the program which include, but are not limited to, hand washing, sanitary measures, playground safety rules, and rules regarding the use of supplies and equipment.
EDUCATIONAL/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Must be at least 17 years old.
Willingness to understand and support the District's Comprehensive School Improvement Plan. Must successfully pass a background check and drug test that are satisfactory to the Board of Education.
