Job description

Starting Wage: $18.00 hour

The Player Services Representive is responsible for greeting all guests in a pleasant, courteous and enthusiastic manner while assisting guests with various money related transactions and registering guest information for Players Club accounts.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Redeems Video Lottery Terminal tickets, Keno/Sportsbook tickets and chips into currency for guests, exchanges coins for cash, processes poker withdrawals and deals with cash exchanges.
  • Processes Global Cash checks, personal checks and travelerโ€™s checks following strict identification guidelines.
  • Issues revenue banks for F&B, Hotel, Bingo/Keno and cash wallets to Slot Attendants.
  • Proficiently and accurately completes transactions, online accounting functions and required paperwork.
  • Provides excellent guest service by answering all questions and entering guestโ€™s information into the Players Club database.
  • Sells box office tickets through Star Tickets plus system and assists the Host department with VIP Special Events and concert reservations when needed.
  • Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the Player Services area, monitoring inventory and requesting supplies as needed.
  • Conducts Marketing promotions in accordance with the approved promotional rules.
  • Performs responsibilities in compliance with the current departmental policies & procedures, staying up to date on any changes.
  • Maintains awareness of, and effectively communicates to other staff, property-wide/company promotions, events and programs.
  • Provides information and explains Players Club benefits, property amenities & marketing programs to our guests.
  • Safeguards Three Rivers Casino Resort assets and balances assigned bank.
  • Other duties as directed by management.

WORK ENVIRONMENT


While performing the duties of this job, Team Members may be exposed to secondhand tobacco smoke, including regular exposure for those working on the casino floor. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and can occasionally reach a high level for short periods of time.

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND ELIGIBILITY

  • Minimum age requirement for this position is 21 years old.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 6 months cash handling experience preferred.
  • Must participate in and maintain Title 31 requirements.
  • General understanding of computer programs, including all windows applications required.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, verbally, in writing or by other acceptable means.
  • Comply with pre-employment, random and reasonable suspicion alcohol and drug testing.
  • Receive and maintain a valid gaming license from the CTCLUSI Tribal Gaming Commission.
  • Availability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays based on the needs of the department and for special casino events.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to sit, stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours.
  • Must be able to carry, reach, twist, bend and squat frequently.
  • Must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with assistance as needed.
