Business Development Manager - Fitness Industry

Zenoti

Seattle, WA โ€ข On-site

Full-time

Re-posted 23 days ago

Job description

About the Roleย

Zenoti is expanding aggressively into the fitness market, andย we'reย looking for a connector - someone who lives andย breathesย the fitness industry and knows how to turn relationships into revenue. This is not aย closingย role. You are the tip of the spear: buildingย Zenoti'sย presence in the fitness community through events, networking, partnerships, and warm introductions that feed a high-performing sales team.ย

If you have a Rolodex full of gym owners, boutique studio operators, fitness franchise contacts, and industry insiders - and you know how to work a room - this role was built for you.ย

Whatย You'llย Doย

Industry Networking & Relationship Buildingย

Leverage your existing network and continuously build new relationships with independent gym operators, multi-location fitness brands, franchise groups, and key ecosystem players (equipment vendors, consultants, fitness associations). Be the face of Zenoti in the fitness community.ย

Local & Regional Event Activationย

Identify, plan, and execute local events - roundtables, lunch-and-learns, gym owner meetups, and co-branded partner events - that bring qualified prospects intoย Zenoti'sย orbit. Own the event calendar from ideation to follow-up.ย

Industry Conference & Trade Show Presenceย

Represent Zenoti at key fitness industry events (IHRSA, Club Industry, Boutique Fitness Summit, etc.).ย Workย the floor, set meetings, and ensure Zenoti is a recognizable and respected name in every room you enter.ย

Pipeline Generationย

Convert relationships and event attendees into qualified opportunities. Hand off warm, well-documented leads to the Account Executive team with full context and deal-readiness notes.ย You'reย measured on pipeline created, not deals closed.ย

Partner & Channel Developmentย

Identifyย and cultivate strategic partnerships with fitness equipment brands, POS providers, gym design firms, and fitness consultants who can refer Zenoti to their clients.ย

Market Intelligenceย

Stay close toย what'sย happening in the fitness industry -ย who'sย growing,ย who'sย struggling, what operators care about - and feed those insights back to marketing and product.ย

What Success Looks Likeย

  • Consistent pipeline contribution: a monthly quota of qualified opportunities passed to AEsย
  • Active local event calendar with measurable attendance and lead outputย
  • Growing network of fitness industry contacts that translates into warm introductionsย
  • Strong relationships with 2-3 strategic referral partners within the first 6 monthsย

Whatย We'reย Looking Forย

  • 5+ years of experience in the fitness industryย
  • Proven existing network of gym owners, studio operators, or fitness brand decision-makersย
  • Track recordย of using relationships and events to generate business opportunitiesย
  • Natural networker and connector -ย you'reย energized by meeting new people and building communityย
  • Strong communicationย and storytelling skills; able to conveyย Zenoti'sย value clearly and compellinglyย
  • Organized and self-directed - able to manage a regional territory and events calendar independentlyย
  • Comfortable with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot) and tracking pipeline activityย
  • Willingness to travel regionally for events, conferences, and prospect meetingsย

Compensation & Benefitsย

  • Variable/bonus tied to qualified pipeline generated
  • Full benefits package
  • Conference and event budgetย

Why Zenotiย

Zenoti powers over 30,000 businesses across salons, spas, and wellness - andย we'reย bringing that same enterprise-grade platform to the fitness world.ย You'llย beย joining atย the ground floor of a major market push, with the tools, brand, and product to back you up.ย
